Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American model, TV host, comic and host. Panganiban is dubbed the "new Queen of Drama" by numerous media publications. Her name is also acknowledged as being an one of Philippines' most experienced and versatile actors. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, became extremely sick in 2012 due to an infection caused by strep bacteria. Angelica Hale desperately needed life-saving medical intervention and was placed on ECMO Life-support in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved following the onset of an infection with septicae and eventually was diagnosed with multiple organ failure. The process of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis later became her new normal. She finally returned home after 80 days of hospitalization, at a point when she was close to death, and began the long road back to good health. The way she lived her life was forever changed. Angelica was on dialysis for more than a decade and half before she could undergo the kidney transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mom. Angelica Hale, along with her mother went through a kidney transplantation on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13 2013. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always dreamed of becoming an actress as well as a performer and is currently working towards this dream.
